Hello, greetings. I'm sorry that I don't know any German, and I hope you can read English.

I'm searching for the parents of my Great Grandmother, Amelia (Amalia) Meinert. Amelia listed her home as Eddelach, Holstein on her emigration record. She emigrated from Hamburg to San Francisco in 1877 along with her sister Catarina. She was born 7 November 1853.

Here in the United States, she settled in Oregon and married Fredrick Holzapfel. They had seven children, including my grandfather, Fred. I would like to know who her parents were and if she had other siblings. I wonder if there are any church records in Eddelak that I could search? Thank you so much for your time.
