Hi,

Is there anyone that has information on Eggert(or Iggert) Junge born March 18, 1824 in Eddelak and his wife Catharina Antje Willer born Sept. 4 1826 in Eddelak. Also, Eggert's parents Paul Junge (born 1798) and his wife, Catharina Hinrichs born about 1802. Catharina Antje Willer's parents Peter Willer (born Jun 17 1792 in Eddelak) and Antije Wittrock (born about 1804.

I found some of the men in a birth index for Eddelak, but it didn't seem to list females for that time period.

My great grandmother was Anna Marie Wittrock, I have Wittrock families going back to the 1600's. What is the name of your Wittrock connection? I have been on Ingo Flindt's site for several years. A year ago spent 14 days in Eddelak. I am sure I can help you with your Wittrock family, please e-mail me.

For Peter Willars and Antje Wittrock, check the Averlack Census for 1840. Averlak was part of the Eddelak parish. They were listed as Family # 29 in Averlak. I recorded Peter Willars as age 48 and Antje Wittrock, his wife, as age 47. They had two children whose names I did not record. There are 3 censuses that cover Eddelak that are available from the LDS. 1845 is film # 39292, 1840 is # 39188, 1835 is # 39108. Hope this helps.

WITTROCK Telsche married Jacob Dietrich BOLLING

Telsche is my G G Grandmother.
She married Jacob Dietrich BOLLING.
They emigrated to Australia.
They lost a child on the way to Australia at SImonstown, Cape of Good Hope.
Jacob died in a mining accident - a Tin Rush - from a fall of earth.
Telsche remarried soon after as she had young children.
Unfortunately she didn't live very long, dying of cancer.
I have quite a bit on her, her ancestors and her descendants.
I'm happy to swap information .. I'd like to give and receive, not just give, please.
I don't understand German so writing in English would be good.

I have found that there is a Wittrock connection to the Boie family of Blangenmoor, and to other families as follows: Anyone with further information on these families, please contact me.

My Grandfather was Emil Johannes Wittrock born Eddelak 1876
His mother was Anna Mathilda Hesebeck
Her mother was Anna Margaretha Boie of Blangenmoor, who married Hinrich Detlef Hesebeck of Ostermoor
Anna Margaretha Boie was born 1824/1825 and married in St Jacobus in Brunsbuettel on 13 Dec. 1846
Most of my Boie line was from Blangenmoor or vicinity

Boie Boie b. 1796 was the son of Johann Boie/Boje of Averlakmoor and Tilsche Brandt

My grandfather was Emil Johannes Wittrock b. 1876 in Eddelak, was son of Johann Martin Wittrock
Johann Martin Wittrock b. 1846 in Behmhusen was son of Thies Wittrock b. 1814 and Antje Wulf b. 23 May 1810 in Neuenkoogdeich. She was the daughter of Johann Martin Wulf b. ~1765

Antje Wulf’s sister Margareth Wulf born 1805/1806 married Claus Meinert ~ 1830
